The academic requirements for graduation from Plaza Heights Christian Academy are developed to meet or exceed the course of study prescribed by the Missouri State Department of Education. Students are required to complete the prescribed four-year course of study including a minimum of twenty-four units. Although twenty-four units are the minimum requirement, it is strongly recommended that students take a full load for eight semesters, especially those students that are college bound.
Twenty-four units are required for graduation in the following subject areas:
| Bible | 4 units |
| English | 4 units |
| Mathematics | 3 units |
| Science | 3 units |
| Social Science | 3 units |
| Fine Arts | 1 units |
| Practical Arts | 1 units |
| Physical Education | 1 units |
| Electives | 4 units |
| Total | 24 units |
U.S. and Missouri Constitution Tests - Students must pass the U.S. Constitution test and the Missouri Constitution test in order to graduate.

If the student has transferred to PHCA as a junior or senior, he/she may request a waiver of some requirements. Students must still meet minimum Missouri requirements.
